Install the Android app

The Alkestore app installs directly from our website, in five steps. You need Android 7.0 or newer.

1. Download the file
On alkestore.tech, tap Download the Android app. The file is about 23 MB: Wi-Fi is recommended.
2. Confirm the download
Your browser may warn that “this type of file can be harmful”. That is normal for an app that does not come from the Play Store: tap Download anyway.
3. Open the file
Tap the alkestore-1.1.0.apk notification, or open the Files app → Downloads.
4. Allow the installation
The first time, Android asks for permission: tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.
5. Install, then open
Tap Install, then Open. If Play Protect shows “Unverified app”, tap More details → Install anyway: this is the usual warning for an app installed outside the Play Store.

Can’t install a file? Use Alkestore in your browser, with nothing to install.

Updating

When a new version comes out, the app lets you know. Download it here and install it over the old one: your data is kept.

Download Alkestore only from alkestore.tech. A copy received on WhatsApp or found elsewhere may have been tampered with.
